Lorain Apartments For Rent

Situated about thirty miles from downtown Cleveland, Lorain is part and parcel of the greater Cleveland, Ohio, metropolitan area. Even by itself, with a population of some 70,000 people, it ranks as the tenth largest city in the state of Ohio. The city took a significant blow in 2005 when Ford Motor Company closed its assembly plant in the town, but the city still thrives based on its steel production and shipyards. Lorain's steel mills have attracted a lot of foreign-born immigrant groups and the city boasts more than seventy different ethnicities within its population.
